Responsibilities
• Maintain efficient functioning of designated nursing units• Assess patient care needs and coordinate nursing staff assignments• Coordinate schedules for nursing staff• Establish and maintain communication channels• Participate in budget formulation and cost containment• Maintain effective utilization of resources• Assess the need for staff education and clinical development programs• Assume administrative responsibilities on designated shifts• Supervise nursing care performance and provide staff assessments• Provide a superior patient and employee experience
Requirements
• Current RN licensure• Minimum of 3 years clinical practice experience with leadership emphasis• 1 year of previous management experience• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
