We are currently seeking a dedicated Nurse Educator to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and teach a variety of specialty courses, advancing the knowledge and skills of our students. Responsibilities:
Teach and coordinate assigned courses, providing mentorship and support to students in academic and clinical settings.
Prepare graduate students for advanced roles in clinical practice and leadership.
Ensure compliance with educational standards and guidelines, contributing to the continuous improvement of our programs.
Collaborate with program leadership to develop and revise curriculum as needed.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Doctoral Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience required
Licenses and Certifications:
Current APRN nursing and RN license
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Board certification in family, adult, or women's health nursing
Experience in teaching advanced practice core sciences; specialty courses and/or evidence-based practice preferred
Competency in evidence-based inquiry processes
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to diversity, fairness, and adherence to guiding principles
Physical Capabilities:
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
Work Environment:
Primarily office-based
