Job Description Key Responsibilities: Maintaining accurate inventory records of incoming and outgoing metal materials, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of quantities. Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, including scheduling deliveries, coordinating shipments, and optimizing transportation routes. Leading and motivating warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimize productivity and efficiency. Coordinating maintenance and repair activities for warehouse equipment used in handling non-ferrous metals, such as sorting machines, balers, and shears. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within warehouse operations for non-ferrous metals, implementing solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and best practices for handling and storing non-ferrous metal materials, including waste management and pollution prevention measures. Preparing regular reports on warehouse activities related to non-ferrous metals, including inventory levels, productivity metrics, and safety performance, to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement efforts.
