Night Watchman

Job Description
Maintain a safe and secure environment for hotel guests and employees by patrolling and monitoring the premises and personnel. At least every hour, walk the hallways, stairwells, rear parking lot, and front parking lot to maintain employee presence throughout the evening Respond to customer concerns or any suspicious activity by reporting to the front desk and then to law enforcement if necessary. Respond to all front desk requests for assistance as needed. Observe and report activities and incidents, providing for the security and safety of hotel property, hotel guests and personnel. Complete nightly checklists to help maintain a secure environment and complete routine monitoring of the hotel property every hour. Requirements
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs. Additional physical requirements of the night watchman may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Must have excellent customer service skills and perform some clerical duties. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be a self-motivator. Must be able to perform tasks with limited supervision. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have vehicle and valid drivers license. Hours will vary for days off and hours worked, but it will be 5 days per week, for an 8 our shift in the evening/overnight time frame.
