Job summary
Seeking a dynamic team member for a New Mexico Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper position to oversee operations and lead growth in New Mexico.
Job seniority: director level and above
Responsibilities
• Manage survey project managers, survey crews, and CAD technicians• Oversee surveys to establish and map boundaries for properties, topographic studies, construction features, etc.• Verify accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations• Search legal records, survey records, plans, specifications, land titles, etc. for information about property boundaries• Assist in establishing survey methods and procedures, equipment maintenance, etc.• Oversee aerial surveys, photography, and photogrammetry for mapping and volumetric calculations• Oversee land surveys with emphasis on quality and proper survey methodology• Collect and assign necessary information for surveys• Perform necessary calculations essential to surveying• Prepare estimates for various types of surveying services• Communicate with management, clients, and survey field crews
Requirements
• Four year degree in Geometrics or related field• Licensed as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of New Mexico required• Experience in various types of surveys• Knowledge of surveying equipment and technologies
