We are excited to welcome applications from new graduate RNs for our comprehensive RN New Graduate Residency Program. This yearlong program provides a unique opportunity for newly graduated nurses to gain valuable experience and training in acute care nursing. Our program comprises classroom learning, hands-on preceptorship, and ongoing professional development.
Program Overview:
Our RN New Graduate Residency Program is a robust, paid, yearlong program designed to equip new RN graduates with the skills and confidence needed to excel in acute care nursing. The program includes three distinct phases:
Phase 1: Classroom Training (5-8 weeks depending on specialty)
Instructor-led classroom sessions
State-of-the-art simulation and debriefing
Certifications specific to each unit
Training on charting systems
Monday-Friday schedule with 40-hour work weeks
Phase 2: Clinical Preceptorship (7-8 weeks depending on specialty)
Hospital-based training with one-on-one preceptorship
Regular development meetings and coaching
Customized Coaching/Onboarding report
Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week at the hospital
Phase 3: Residency Program (remainder of 1st year)
Transition to full-time role after successful completion
Ongoing professional development and mentorship
Completion of an evidence-based capstone project
Qualifications:
Current South Carolina RN license or Multi-state Compact RN license (or ability to obtain)
Graduated from an accredited school of nursing within the past 1 year
Commitment to a two (2) year full-time position at the hospital
Self-motivated with strong communication skills
Excellent attendance throughout the RN Training program

Additional Information:
Located in a growing area of the city with Level 1 Trauma center status
Accepting LTAC/Correctional/Rehab Nurses seeking to transition to acute care
New grads accepted with or without RN License
Competitive pay rates during training, with increases based on prior healthcare experience
Program commitment of two (2) years with potential monetary responsibility if left early
Application Process:
Applicants are required to provide the following information at the time of submission:
Graduation date, nursing school, and degree level obtained (ADN, BSN, etc.)
Current RN license status in South Carolina or Multi-state Compact
Any healthcare experience outside of schooling
Ability to commit to the two-year program
Flexibility with unit and shift placement preferences
Long-term career goals and how the program will contribute

Salary and Bonuses:
Minimum Starting Point: $29.62 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: Med/Surg $20K, ICU & ED $10K
Relocation Bonus: $5K
