Please join us as: Neuromodulation Platform Engineer Your Responsibilities Develop & lead a team of verification engineers with a focus on our therapy devices Operate a test fleet of devices for automated regression tests against CI builds of our product software Maintain test automation libraries and tools Generate and maintain relevant QA documentation Generate and present ideas for continuous process improvement Technology selection to meet evolving QA challenges Train new team members Review work products of team members Maintain and communicate the group's project schedule Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the manager Your Profile Education / Experience Requirements: B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and/or Computer Science, or equivalent 5 years work experience in applied design. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Strategic thinking and analytical skills. Strong team player, self-motivated, self-directed, action oriented, able to learn quickly. Additional Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Experience with software development, cross-platform operating systems, Bluetooth communication. Experience developing software for implantable medical devices, or other critical infrastructure devices in high-reliability environments. Clear understanding of multi-layer software architecture and development, code management frameworks. Proven ability to develop new ideas to the level of a working system prototype. Ability to design, implement and debug code for real and virtual (simulated) systems. While medical system experience would be desired, it is not a minimum requirement for this role; we are prepared to train the right candidate in this regard. Medical device development/ISO 13485 experience. Location: This position is located in Lake Oswego, Oregon. We have a flexible work-from-home policy, which needs to balance the need to interact with specialized test equipment. Especially this position involves complex lab setups, which can partially be replicated in a home office setting. Work Enviornment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
