University of Maryland Shore Regional Health is seeking a Neurologist to join their well-established General Neurology practice.The practice has been operational for over 31 years.Live and work close to the Chesapeake Bay in family-friendly neighborhoods.

Responsibilities
• Provide patient-centered outpatient services.• Perform inpatient neurology consultations.• Collaborate with a team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.• Maintain knowledge of national standards and guidelines for stroke treatment.• Work with the Penn Medicine Telestroke Program.
Requirements
• Possess and maintain a current medical license in the State of Maryland.• Hold current Board Certification within the practicing specialty.• Have current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification.• Maintain appropriate clinical privileges at a UMMS-affiliated acute care facility.• Meet minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.• Demonstrate qualifications and experience necessary for the position.
Key Skills Needed
• Medical licensure in Maryland• Board certification in Neurology• Strong knowledge of stroke treatment guidelines• Experience with telemedicine
