Responsibilities The CNP Technologist I functions in the neurodiagnostic laboratories performing electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials, Autonomic, and/or Nerve Conduction Studies. The technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, providing a safe testing environment, and must demonstrate minimum competency, skill, and knowledge in neurodiagnostic procedural testing in the area of hire.
As our Mayo Clinic Neurology department continues to grow in innovation, education, and technology, we are looking for amazing Neurodiagnostic Technologists to join our team. This position can be filled by a Tech I, II or III. Our technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, providing a safe testing environment, and must demonstrate minimum competency, skill, and knowledge in neurodiagnostic procedural testing in the area of hire.

EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM, CAP, ABEM, CNCT, R.NCS.T.) is required in the laboratory of hire.  Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited institution for neurodiagnostic technology or 2 years equivalent neurodiagnostic tech experience. Associate's degree preferred.Computer skills required. Must have demonstrated communication, problem solving, and organizational ability. Within two years of employment, specific certification through ABRET - Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM and CAP); Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM; CNCT) and/or AAET - The Nerve Conduction Association (R.NCS.T.) is required in the laboratory of hire. The Registry Examination should be attempted as soon as the employee is eligible. Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.

Nonexempt Compensation Detail
Compensation range is $27.55 -$41.37 / hour, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. Benefits Eligible
