Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neuro Rehabilitation Physiatrist to join our dynamic medical team. As a board-certified Physiatrist with extensive experience in neuro rehabilitation, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders. You will work with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with neurological disorders, including physical, cognitive, and emotional evaluations.
Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, including rehabilitation therapies, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including neurologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide coordinated care to patients.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on the nature of their condition, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms.
Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of neuro rehabilitation.
Qualifications:
Board certification in physiatry.
3+ years of experience in neuro rehabilitation.
Strong clinical skills and expertise in the evaluation and treatment of patients with neurological disorders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest advances in neuro rehabilitation.
Experience with research and quality improvement initiatives is preferred.
