Responsibilities:
Maintain computer networks including routers, switches, VPNs and other physical hardware/software Monitor systems to improve network performance for all systems Troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate networking issues to other employees and management Install, configure and upgrade network hardware and software and manage assets Create firewall rules and update software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected Provide on-site support for projects that require on-site installation and support Arrange scheduled upgrades Investigate faults in the network Update network equipment to the latest firmware releases Participate in on-call rotation Report network status to key stakeholders Perform IP address auditing Improve knowledge and understanding of network and security best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems Ability to work overtime Ability to travel overnight Requirements/Qualifications:
2 year of related work experience Possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to execute excellent customer service relationship skills Ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions Strong documentation skills Prior experience providing network administration a plus Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) a plus
