Network Administrator

Job summary
The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining a secure and reliable network infrastructure.They will troubleshoot and maintain network hardware and software, and provide technical assistance to users.This role requires critical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
• Design, document, and implement network standards based on business needs.• Manage access/identity governance and security standards.• Administer firewall, router, cabling, and switches for multi-location divisions.• Ensure high uptime through project execution and vendor management.• Perform proactive patch management and administer hardware and software.• Provide technical support for help desk tickets and resolve issues.• Serve as a project leader for internal and external IT projects.• Manage inventory of devices and maintain vendor relationships.• Complete other assigned duties.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.• Experience working with VMWare environment and Microsoft networking and server products.• Experience with networking technologies such as routers, switches, VoIP, and firewalls.• Understanding of VEEAM Backup infrastructure.• Operational knowledge in wireless/mobile communications management.• Experience with Active Directory and GPO.• Ability to travel locally and up to 10% travel to manufacturing facility in Arkansas.
