POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
You would be hired as a permanent Sogeti employee serving as a Consultant providing guidance and experience a variety of exciting projects, work within different workplaces and various industries with diverse teams.
JOB SPECIFICS
You will perform analysis, design and implementation of solutions using Microsoft technology stack. In addition, lead and coordinate projects from a technology perspective, following secure SDLC activities and standards that are consistent with best practices. You will drive the design and development of user interfaces, business objectives and overall infrastructure.
We are looking for a bright minded, self-motivated, team player with a strong background and skilled with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and abilities with:
Analyzing, designing, configuring, developing and implementing intermediate-level solutions to meet business needs and objectives.
Working with business owners, other IT teams, and vendors to create integrations both to/from vendors.
Provide Level 3 support. Investigating operational or systematic problems and providing resolution using intermediate analytical skills and tools as necessary.
Preparing project proposals and develop project plans. Leading small projects.
Maintaining up-to-date awareness of current and future directions of business industry and associated technologies.
Investigating and documenting present procedures as liaison with user departments.
Working knowledge to develop and maintain application security, design and documentation according to legal compliance requirements.
Requirements
6 plus years of software development experience with 5 plus years of web-based software development in .NET technologies (C#, .Net Framework, .Net Core, Docker, MVC, SQL Server) and 1+ year of experience working with Azure services.
Prior experience with ASP.NET MVC (versions 4 and up), .Net Core, WCF, Restful services, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5/CSS3, React, responsive design, and Dependency Injection frameworks.
Object-relational mapping (ORM) with different tools such as Entity Framework and LINQ.
Experience working with container-based solutions.
Experience with continuous integration with Azure DevOps, Git (or similar).
Should have strong understanding of SOA, TDD, SOLID principles, and systems architecture concepts. Must be familiar with Agile or other iterative development methodologies.
Must possess requirement and component level estimation, database design and development skills.
Must have excellent judgment, problem-solving, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment while building positive working relationships.
Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task and effectively prioritize competing demands on time and attention.
