Position: Medical Science Liaison, Nephrology Field
Location: Territory includes SD, ND, MN, WI, NE, IA, MO, KS, IL (outside of Chicago), OK, TX, NM, LA, and the Gulf Coast.
Your Mission:
Let's make a difference together. As a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Nephrology, you'll be an integral part of our US Medical team. Your role involves engaging with Nephrology Healthcare Professionals, Opinion Leaders, and Healthcare Decision Makers to convey and promote our scientific platform in alignment with corporate objectives.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders to disseminate clinical and scientific data, driving the advancement of our scientific platform and corporate goals.
Educate stakeholders on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data, fostering relationships with payers, providers, advocacy groups, and access enablers.
Responsibly address unsolicited inquiries in adherence to compliance standards.
Provide field insights to internal stakeholders and execute scientific engagement plans according to MSL goals and metrics.
Develop and implement local Opinion Leader plans aligned with scientific engagement strategies.
Support speaker training initiatives and ensure speakers are updated on the latest data.
Contribute to sponsored research activities and potentially serve as a study lead.
Foster relationships with potential investigators in non-sponsored clinical research.
Lead or participate in project teams supporting MSL strategies as directed by MSL leadership.
Uphold values and leadership attributes while demonstrating professionalism and tact in all communications and interactions.
Lead and support congress activities in line with strategic objectives.
Collaborate compliantly with cross-functional colleagues, potentially serving as the main point of contact.
Maintain clinical expertise through timely completion of assigned training.
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
OR
Master's degree & 3 years of Medical Affairs experience
OR
Bachelor's degree & 5 years of Medical Affairs experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. (other doctoral degrees considered)
Five or more years in a medically related field, including at least 1 year focused on clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
