The Garrett Group is in search of a Naval Surface Warfare Analyst for an upcoming contract aimed at executing vital responsibilities within the Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER). These responsibilities include regular assessments of service deployment certification events and mandatory prerequisite training crucial for supporting Combatant Commands (CCMDs). JCER's approach involves thorough evaluations of venues, events, and units, guided by standards like the Universal Joint Tasks (UJTs) and the EMOE Characterization Framework.
Candidates should meet the following qualifications: Required Experience: Development of detailed mission analysis and resource integration to ascertain capabilities aligned with the JCER mission. Familiarity with current service capabilities and tactics, coupled with an understanding of vulnerabilities in the face of electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO) threats, enabling informed recommendations to service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on JCER evaluation findings. A minimum of twelve (12) years of demonstrated relevant experience in Naval Warfare. Additional Desired Experience: Proficiency in analyzing threat data and managing the receipt and dissemination of foreign intelligence information. Capacity to assess emerging EMSO threats and communicate findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on evaluation results. Training and certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly recommended for individuals lacking desired military leadership experience. At least fifteen (15) years of demonstrated relevant experience in Naval Warfare. Duties and Responsibilities: Operational-level experience preferred, with a focus on candidates possessing higher-level broadening assignments such as Joint, CCMD, or Service level staff roles. Conducting tactical, operational, and strategic-level research concerning the impact of existing and emerging EMSO threats on joint operations. Performing studies, research, reporting, and offering recommendations regarding instrumentation and evaluation resources necessary for executing risk reduction and evaluation events, ensuring coordination across communications, logistics, materiel, data collection, and personnel training.
