Job summary
The National Account Manager will be responsible for selling products to supermarket chains, distributors, and food service multi-unit customers.They will act as a consultant and partner to the customers to ensure existing and future contracts for the retail market.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Expand current customer relationships through new product offerings and innovation.• Create sales presentations.• Execute sales objectives.• Manage customer accounts.• Find and follow new sales leads.• Arrange business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective customers.• Attend business-related conferences and shows to represent the company.• Cultivate positive interactions and relationships with sales representatives, team leaders, and executives.• Develop ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty.• Research the market and industry trends.• Establish daily relations with customers.• Introduce and sell new products and species.• Maintain contracts within established prices to secure competitive pricing.• Lead and manage the CSR to ensure quality service to customers.• Manage customer claims and provide backup for claims, credits, and short pays.• Minimize financial impact for Mowi and maintain customer service.• Ensure accuracy in the resolution of all credits and timely posting into customers' accounts.
Requirements
• Goal-oriented, organized team player.• Able to analyze data and sales statistics.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Self-motivated and self-directed.• Experienced at preparing and presenting to customers.• Comfortable in both a leadership and team player role.• Creative problem solver.• Three to five years of proven sales/development experience.• Proficient computer skills.• Knowledge in the US Seafood Industry, Foodservice sales, Category Management, Perishables.• Ability to maintain customer satisfaction and relations.• Leadership, Negotiation, Planning, Organizational skills, Communication, Creative Skills, and Ability to work under pressure.• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field is preferred.
