Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives.
Provide comprehensive instruction in nail care, artistry, manicure techniques, and salon hygiene.
Demonstrate proper techniques, safety practices, and industry standards in manicuring.
Cultivate an inclusive and encouraging learning environment that fosters student participation and growth.
Offer hands-on guidance and supervision during practical sessions and laboratory work.
Evaluate student progress through various assessments and offer constructive feedback.
Address individual learning needs and provide support as required.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to ensure the curriculum remains relevant.
Maintain a safe and organized learning environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
Act as a mentor and role model, guiding students in their professional journey.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and improve teaching methodologies.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Active Manicurist or Cosmetology license and a current Instructor license.
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a practicing manicurist.
Previous teaching or training experience in a similar educational setting preferred.
Thorough understanding of manicuring principles, practices, and industry trends.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts effectively.
Enthusiasm and patience to educate and mentor aspiring manicurists.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in instructional technology and multimedia teaching resources.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Work Schedule:
Day and evening positions are available, including partial work-from-home options.
