SUMMARY:
Coordinator will work closely with admin and staff to service school in all matters pertaining to the implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) model. Provide information and PD to school ensuring that MTSS components are well established at the school.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following tasks describe the basic functions of the job; not all tasks may be performed by each employee. Duties and assignments may vary based on building assignment and academic year. The following frequencies and percentage of time spent are approximations only.
Facilitate and monitor fidelity of implementation of MTSS systems. Coordinates MTSS staff development and meetings. Compile, maintain and review student data. Encourages and models skillful use of data to make informed decisions. Identifies school wide gaps in MTSS and identifies research based academic interventions to meet student needs. Establish a progress monitoring process, inclusive of timelines and data collection procedures. Engage in frequent and ongoing follow up support for staff and students. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. [Daily, 5%] MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire. REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
All certifications, licenses, and registrations must be valid and unexpired.
Colorado teaching license. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Racially conscious and culturally competent with the skill, will, capacity, and knowledge to commit to a culture of continuous improvement. Knowledge of MTSS models in school settings Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. Proficiency in disaggregating, interpreting and analyzing data. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
