IMS Solutions Group is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team! The Business Development Representative (BDR) will focus on new customer acquisition, lead generation and prospect management as their primary job function. The BDR will be the initial contact point for potential clients to gauge their interest and needs related to IMS Solutions Group. The BDR will also research all client business referrals, network, and web leads to provide the Sales Team context and direction when making follow-up contact with potential clients identified and screened by the BDR. The BDR will also provide prospective customers/clients with basic details of all services offered to prepare them for follow-up by a Sales Team member. The BDR will continue to work with the Sales Team member assigned to the account to drive the initial opportunity to a closed sale.
Primary Responsibilities: Identify new opportunities in the assigned markets and qualify target opportunities to the sales team Support sales and marketing efforts as required based on project objectives for the month, quarter and year Research new leads from the sales enablement platform, website, events, etc., for new client engagements Become a subject matter expert on local market, relative to the products, services and industry Timely updating of key activities in CRM/PSA Represent IMS Solutions Group in the local market through attendance at networking functions, including after-hours as required Here's what we're looking for in the ideal candidate: Bachelor's degree required Related Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of sales experience Must have industry experience in IT or related technologies Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills Job Location: Primarily Remote (Work from home). Attend customer and prospect engagements in the IMS markets as needed on a regular basis.
