MSA Accounting Analyst Location Louisville, KY : Overview: Position Summary: The MSA Analyst will be responsible for MSA contract revenue and expense modeling, analysis, and reporting as well as special projects as designated by management. Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision Insurance Generous PTO Paid Holidays Free parking Responsibilities: This position is based in office, in Louisville, KY Essential Duties and Responsibilities MSA Contract Revenue Analysis Understand legal/MSA contracts and contract driven revenue. Create calculations for new contract billings/revenue. Structure estimates for accruals (both revenue and expense). Reconcile between accruals and actuals (both revenue and expense). Identify and explain the primary drivers for differences between accruals and actuals (expense and revenue) Analyze multiple revenue arrangement structures (UOS/Cost+/Profit Share/Flat Fee/etc.) Interpret and analyze results for each revenue arrangement. Articulate ideas for maximizing revenue for each revenue arrangement. Create variable pricing and expense models for use in contract renegotiations and budgeting purposes. Understanding of Payroll/PTO and related accruals. Full weekly Accounts Payable brand reviews. Work closely with Clinic Accounting and RFD groups during the month end close process. Balance sheet reconciliations as they pertain to the MSA line of business. Review current processes and create efficiencies within those processes. Ad Hoc Research and Trend Analysis Assist Revenue Cycle Accounting with discovery process and communication of roots causes of negative trends. Qualifications: Competencies Advanced Excel skills Ability to learn how data moves though systems to identify trends or issues. Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, constantly changing environment. Ability to recognize when priorities need to shift. Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, analysis, or related field.
