Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate Educators to join our team, a Stride K12 partner school. As a Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering specific course content in an online environment. You'll provide instruction, support, and guidance tailored to individual student needs, managing the learning process through our learning management system. While primarily working from home, occasional travel is required for school functions such as state testing.
Responsibilities:
Instructional:
Take ownership of students' academic progress and attendance, setting high expectations and actively supporting achievement.
Prepare students for standardized tests and conduct live synchronous teaching for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Collaborate with regional teams and teacher trainers to enhance instruction and decision-making.
Maintain grades and ensure academic integrity, submitting required student work and reports on progress.
Relationship Building:
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and learning coaches/parents.
Support learning coaches/parents with student curricular and instructional issues.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure student success and effective communication.
Other Essential Functions:
Organize social and educational activities for students and families, including virtual clubs and outings.
Travel occasionally to testing sites for state exams.
Maintain a professional home office and respond promptly to students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Six (6) months of student teaching experience.
Ability to clear required background checks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with virtual teaching platforms and online environments.
Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with state content standards and K12 curriculum alignment.
Adaptability to change for excellent student outcomes.

Experience supporting technology use for adults and children.
Compensation & Benefits:
Anticipated salary range: $48,000.
Eligible for bonuses.
