Motion Graphic Artist

The candidate will have plenty of skill and imagination to create beautiful, engaging visuals for different types of video content across multiple brands. He or she will:Create visually stunning motion graphics, including (but not limited to):-Title sequences-Infographics-Lower thirds-Transitions and interstitials-Animated illustrations-Logo animations-End creditsDesign graphic assets for projects as necessary and within brand guidelines. Collaborate with executive director, producer and video/graphic design teams to:-Establish clear processes for ideation, execution, revision and file delivery;-Develop and implement a consistent visual identity for each project.-Ensure projects are completed on schedule and to agreed specifications.-Collaborate with producer and video team to keep multiple projects on track simultaneously.-Keep producer and executive director informed of project progress.-keep track of revision requests and implement in a timely manner.The right candidate will have:-Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Illustrator-Familiarity with basics of digital workflows, such as --File organization-Version control-Data safety-Understanding of video codecs and deliverable formats-Ability to assess scope and work requirements for projects ahead of time-Ability to adapt to sudden shifts in production schedules/priorities-Strong attention to detail-Strong communication skills-Portfolio of previous graphic design and motion design work-Commitment to work within the values of the Roman Catholic ChurchSkills in the following are a bonus but not required:-Adobe Audition-DaVinci Resolve-Character animation-Digital illustration
