This position requires a unique mix of sales/marketing and customer service skills, plus the ability to manage leads and loan files from beginning to end. Assist and learn how to process a loan from start to finishFollow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer serviceCheck all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan processors and loan originatorsLearn all aspects of a process from lead to fundingAssist with administrative duties such as making and screening calls, booking appointments, etcManage marketing activities and plan events to achieve quarterly goalsEnsure data integrity is managed within company software systemsQualifications:At least 2+ years of professional office environment required, preferably as a loan officer assistant, real estate transaction coordinator, or mortgage assistant. Experience working with a mortgage broker is preferred, but not requiredHighly motivated, detailed, and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skillsHaving an LO license is desired but not required for hire but will be required as a part of this job roleComprehension of loan financing for government and conventional productsPreferred degree in finance, marketing, or similar studies.
