Summary/Objective: The Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for assisting loan officers prospect for and originate loans. You will aid our loan officers in such activities as managing their pipelines, setting appointments, collecting documents, providing outstanding customer service. Make outbound calls to prospective clients to generate new business for our loan officers. Learn what to say!Build relationships with referral partners to increase business opportunities (learn not just how to put a loan together, but how to get the loan!)Schedule appointments for loan officers to meet with prospective clients.Collect and review loan application documents from clients. Learn the lingo, documents and requirements.Aid clients in completing their loan application.Review loan disclosures with clients.Ensure all loan application documents are complete and accurate.Provide regular updates to clients and partners on the status of loan applications.Act as a partner to our clients throughout the loan process.Maintain a positive relationship with referral partners and clients.Qualifications:
Active NMLS MLO license is a PLUS, but not a requirement.MUST be able to pass the NMLS Exam to be considered and obtain a NMLS MLO LicenseInterest in sales and a competitive drive4 years of professional work experience OR Bachelor's Degree + 1 year of professional work experienceStrong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.Basic computer skills. Compensation: Compensation during training is $40,000.
