Mortgage Executive Assistant Location Greenville, SC : POSITION SUMMARY Provides administrative, secretarial support to Mortgage Executive in the extension of mortgage requests which requires work of a confidential nature and requires initiative, judgment, and ability to provide accurate client service, representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Complete new file set up Validating and completing application Organizing and uploading income and asset documentation Scheduling loans for closing Assist in daily loan follow up between Mortgage Operations, clients, mortgage executives Follow-up on requested verifications Coordinate file progress with processors and underwriters Contact clients to follow-up on requested documentation Pull documents from SF system for file documentation Establish and maintain client contact management Input client data Review client updates Suggest improvements Work directly with client if Mortgage Executive is not available Assist Mortgage Executive in new client origination and mortgage loan pipeline Process payment of invoices and fees as needed Provide assistance to other Mortgage Executives if needed Handle company funds Shred files once the loan has closed and funded Answers client inquiries and general simple administration tasks like updating letters of pre-qualification. Complete other duties as assigned ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES OR DETAILS ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma with previous banking and/or financial experience College experience in a business field of 2 to 4 years is preferable Knowledge of banking terminology and procedures Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with clients and other team members Ability to work closely with all areas of the bank to ensure clear communication and implementation of all policy, procedures and compliance requirements are disseminated. Ability to adjust to change and a willingness to be a team player Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance Ability to work independently and take initiative to exercise judgment and make decisions within scope of authority Ability to solve problems using combination of intuition and analytics Ability to think and act quickly and to follow procedures Demonstrate high level of competency with secretarial duties and working knowledge of composing written communications Knowledge of documentation and compliance regulations required for both business and consumer loans Computer literate with word processors and ability to learn new programs as implemented for loan processing and client inquiry Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance.
