Responsibilities
• Participate / Lead new tooling quote activities• Lead on new mold development projects• Responsible for tracking and reporting project status• Work directly with new product teams and advise on design for manufacturability• Review Moldflow simulation results and improve tool and part designs• Analyze part data and communicate findings for improvements• Establish molding process parameters scientifically• Leverage statistical techniques to develop robust processes• Ensure all documentation for assigned molds is complete• Provide technical support to resolve issues
Requirements
• Bachelor in Plastics Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering• Understanding of injection molding/tooling development• Experience with CAD and other 3-D modeling software• Basic understanding of GD&T for reviewing product prints• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, global environment• Experience working as lead with remote sites and outside vendors• Experience using MS Office Software such as Excel, Word, Outlook• Familiarity with applications such as Minitab and SAP
