Join our team at West Michigan International (WMI) and K&R Truck Sales, a locally-owned group of companies dedicated to providing top-notch services in the truck dealership industry. We are currently seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Technician to perform a variety of tasks including preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, basic repairs, and more. Our ideal candidate is a high-performing individual who complies with company policies and is committed to continuous learning and growth. With five locations across West Michigan, we pride ourselves on our extensive service department, complete body shops, parts delivery, mobile service trucks, and a laser focus on customer service. Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards Use diagnostic tools and special service equipment Respond to after-hours service calls on a rotation basis Diagnose and repair trucks and trailers, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional service is needed Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Maintain and manage company-provided service truck, including parts and tools Work independently and maintain a high level of productivity Qualifications ASE certification preferred but not required Strong teamwork skills Customer-focused attitude State of Michigan HDT repair certified Willingness to stay up-to-date on industry training and equipment Must have your own hand tools Compensation Our Mobile Diesel Technicians earn between $30-$40 per hour , depending on experience. We also offer overtime and a commission plan for after-hours service.
