Our Mobile Automotive Technicians are adept professionals capable of diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues across all domains and may include specialized expertise in specific repair areas.Mobile Technician/Mechanic Compensation and Benefits:Automotive Express Lane/Oil Change Technician Starting Salary: Range of $22-$28 per hour, depending on automotive experience.Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): We prioritize work-life balance, offering industry-leading PTO. Options include medical, dental, vision, Health Savings and Flexible Spending accounts, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability, alongside a robust 401(k) plan for retirement planning.Paid Holidays: Hannah Motor Company offers 5 paid holidays per year to Automotive Technicians subject to completion of the introductory period and other eligibility requirements as per company policy.Automotive Express Lane Technician Responsibilities:Works closely with Mobile Service Coordinator and prepare for the day's appointments,Consult with the customer on work to be performed.Perform multi-point inspections.Perform the work needed in a clean and efficient manner.Communicates with parts department regarding needed parts.Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty.Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.Road tests vehicles when required.Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.Automotive Express Lane Technician Qualifications:6mos- 1year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.Scan tool usage preferred.Ability to program modules, perform DTC's Retrieval and PID Interpretation preferred.Excellent communication skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize according to deadlines.Research skills.Physical ability to use mobile computer devices.Physical ability to bend, squat, lay on the ground, perform work while under vehicle and lift between 50 and 80 pounds.Willingness to work in inclement weather.Must maintain clean driving record and be insurable with company insurance.At Dick Hannah Dealerships, our Core Values are summed up in four words: Family, Integrity, Respect and Purpose.
