Responsibilities
• Adhere to recipes and specified measured pouring portions with appropriate garnish• Maintain a clean and organized bar at all times• Complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items and daily specials• Provide cash settlement of bar checks following all cash handling policies and procedures• Comply with and enforce alcohol awareness laws and procedures• Ability to describe and upsell food and beverages to enhance the guest drinking and dining experience• Perform all relative miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor/manager• Knowledgeable and ability to provide food service at the same high level as the dining room staff• Understand and meet sequence of service requirements for the Beverage Specialist position as well as all requirements for the Lounge Serving Team• Ability to create complex garnishes and properly utilize these in drink presentations
Requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age• High School diploma or equivalent• Minimum of six (6) months experience bartending in a high volume front bar, service bar, and/or fine dining environment• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills• Extensive cocktail recipe knowledge• Extensive wine and Craft beer knowledge• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 pounds• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
