A key element of this position is to be the key ambassador for CDI's brands, representing our portfolio of premium spirits and beverages to consumers, trade professionals, and industry partners. The position requires an expertise in mixology by creating innovative cocktails, conducting engaging training sessions, and participating in promotional events to drive brand awareness and sales. This position requires a passion for craft cocktails and deep knowledge of spirits, which will inspire others to explore and enjoy CDI's brands responsibly.
• Mixology Expertise - Demonstrate mastery of mixology techniques and flavor profiles, using CDI spirits to create signature cocktails that highlight the quality and versatility of our products.
• Brand Representation - Serve as a knowledgeable and charismatic ambassador for CDI brands, embodying their unique identities and values in all interactions with customers, and stakeholders.
• Event Activation - Plan and execute promotional events, tastings, and cocktail demonstrations at bars, restaurants, trade shows, and consumer festivals to showcase CDI brands and engage with target audiences.
• Content Creation - Create compelling content for social media, websites, and marketing materials, including cocktail recipes, videos, blog posts, and brand stories, to engage consumers and amplify brand messaging.
• Training and Education - Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for bartenders, and sales teams, imparting product knowledge, cocktail recipes, and selling techniques to drive brand advocacy and sales.
• Collaboration - Collaborate closely with the marketing, sales, and trade marketing teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives that support brand objectives and drive market share growth.
• Market Insights - Gather market intelligence and consumer feedback through interactions with customers and industry professionals, providing valuable insights to inform brand strategy and product development.
• Compliance and Responsibility - Ensure responsible consumption and promotion of alcoholic beverages in accordance with company policies and industry regulations, promoting moderation and safety in all brand activations.
• Professional Development - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging consumer preferences through continuous learning and participation in industry events, seminars, and training programs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None
• Proven experience as a mixologist or bartender, preferably with a focus on premium spirits and craft cocktails.
• Excellent knowledge of cocktail techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
• Passion for the spirits industry and a genuine enthusiasm for CDI brands.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to travel and work evenings and weekends as required for events and activations

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job the associate is regularly exposed to working with customers and in the trade. The ability to travel by car, dress in proper business attire, and meet deadlines are all requirements of this position. In addition, this position may be required to travel in inclement weather.
