Coeur's headquarters are located in Chicago, IL.Coeur Alaska, a subsidiary of Coeur Mining Inc. based 45 miles northwest of Juneau, Alaska is seeking a Mill Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the Kensington Mine. Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor, the position will be responsible for the following:Responsibilities:Trouble-Shoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machinery at the MillFollow maintenance priorities and interact with operational personnel to coordinate maintenance activities with production requirements.Pro-actively assess, monitor and recommend modifications to increase safety, environmental, and health aspects of the mill.Pro-actively assess, monitor and recommend modifications to increase gold recovery efficiency, plant availability and decrease operational costs.Maintain records of the mill maintenance department including safety meetings, attendance, vacations, scheduling, and accidents.Intermediate welding and fabrication.Jaw Crusher, Cone Crusher and components of their operation, Conveyor circuits repairing and replacing, Ball Mill, Process Pumps and piping circuits, and Water Treatment Plant maintenance.Responsible for pre-shift inspection of work areas and equipment and responds appropriate.Employees must comply with all company policies including, but not limited to attendance, safety, environmental, and HR policies.
