Details of the offer

Job Duties 1. Check equipment to make sure it is in working order and settings are correct.
2. Check the metal detector for proper working order. Check mill safety stops to assure they are working properly. Perform scale check at the beginning of each shift.
3. Obtain the Rotocure Process Spec Sheet from Team Leader and refer to the schedule for the number of batches to run.
4. Check to verify correct, approved stock has been serviced to the breakdown mill.
5. Add stock and cures to the breakdown mill per Rotocure Process Specification Sheet. Blend Stock and then send to the uniform mill. Start strip over to extruder when requested by Operator.
6. During stock changes, step to the extruder and assist the Operator with removing stock from the die head.
7. Break down the head on mill as required and identify stock properly.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES Must be dependable and demonstrate the ability to follow directions Must be a team player Ability to operate production equipment Good knowledge of all safety procedures while operating machinery LANGUAGE ABILITY Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and work instructions.
MATH ABILITY Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers.
COMPUTER SKILLS Incumbent needs a basic understanding of computers and printers

Operating manufacturing equipment is considered a "Safety Sensitive" function. A Safety-Sensitive Function, as defined by the Company, is one that requires the operation of motor vehicles, forklifts, or motorized warehouse equipment, or one that involves inspecting, servicing, conditioning, controlling, supervising, loading or unloading such machinery. Employees performing "Safety-Sensitive Functions" are prohibited from reporting to work or being on duty while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
