This position is responsible for assisting our technologists with a mix of Microbiology assays including EIA , PCR , Culture, and Microscopy.
Schedule: 1st Shift, Flexible – Part Time (Less than 20 hours per week)

For more detailed information, please click here ( . Job Duties: + Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
+ Process culture and other samples according to SOP .
+ Clean work areas, dispose of samples and locate all samples needed for testing
+ Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
+ Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements: + High School diploma
+ Previous experience is not required but given priority
+ Ability to work independently and within a team environment
+ Able to work with urine, sputum, stool and body fluid
+ Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus
+ High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
+ Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
+ Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
