Brentwood Hospital is seeking a dynamic Mental Health Technician for providing help and hope to individuals and families to improve their mental health.Deliver quality direct patient care through a structured safe therapeutic environment.Contribute as an active part of the treatment team and provide patient observation, escorts, redirection, and consistency.

Responsibilities
• Contribute as an active part of the treatment team• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment• Take vital signs and assist with ADLs as needed by patients• Maintain accurate close observation sheets• Transport patients according to policy and procedure• Intervene appropriately in crisis situations• Speak and address patients, visitors, and staff• Deliver direct patient care through a structured safe therapeutic environment
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree in Psychology preferred• One year of mental health experience or background required
