Responsibilities
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers• Monitor patients for potential aggressive behaviors• De-escalate patients using appropriate intervention• Report alterations in sensory perceptual images• Ensure patient safety and take action when needed• Assist patients with activities of daily living• Encourage independent behavior with appropriate interventions• Provide care considering safety, patients' rights, and comfort
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required• Prefer minimum of two years of college in related health fields• Experience in dealing with the emotionally disturbed preferred• Must be in good standing for internal transfers
