As part of PHPs Population Health and Quality Team, works to establish, maintain, and continuously evaluate new mechanisms for Members, families, and stakeholders to share feedback on their experience navigating and engaging with the health plan and seeking healthcare services, with the intended purpose of informing PHP initiatives to improve population health, achieve quality targets, reduce health disparities, improve access, enhance member experience, and provide culturally competent, whole person care. Facilitates and coordinates a robust engagement strategy for Members, Families, Member-serving systems, and other stakeholders to inform and support the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the Turquoise Care program. Focuses on receipt of meaningful feedback from groups experiencing health disparities, Members who are unable to participate in traditional feedback forums, and Medicaid priority subpopulations, including Justice-Involved, Members with behavioral health concerns, Native Americans, and the perinatal population.

Bachelors degree or equivalent required 5 years experience interacting with community-based organizations, social service providers, or advocacy organizations required 2 years experience with formal feedback mechanisms required (leading focus groups, facilitating advisory boards, designing questionnaires, etc.)3 years experience deploying new programs, including development of programmatic documents and processes required Some in-state travel required (approx. 25% of time) Lived experience with Medicaid preferred, which may include training in alignment with New Mexicos Certified Peer Support certification program Prior experience applying a health equity lens to initiatives or processes in a healthcare or social services setting preferred Experience deploying new programs, including development of programmatic documents preferred Co-Lead a formal program to establish relationships with community-based organizations and trusted community members who can solicit Member feedback on behalf of the health plan. Provide input on topic areas, interview questions, surveys, and focus group guides to solicit feedback on key areas including Member and family experience, barriers to care, plan programming/benefits/messaging, and effective approaches for outreach and engagement. Provide technical assistance and training to CBOs and individuals around all programmatic requirements and best practices, including data collection, focus group recruitment and logistics, reporting, and Member compensation. Facilitate a community of practice for CBOs participating in feedback programs. Support the execution of formal arrangements with community partners participating in feedback programs. Utilize a community engagement relationship management tool to record contacts, identify patterns, and initiate continuous quality improvements. Present feedback findings at key forums, including the Service Quality Committee and the Population Health and Clinical Quality Committee. Escalate Member, family, and stakeholder concerns to the appropriate operational area in a timely and complete manner. Record and track activities appropriately. Design and implement methods for informing Members, families, and stakeholders of how PHP has used their feedback to improve services. Work with key leaders to identify key areas for feedback, including Member engagement pathways, Member communications, and program development. Use feedback gathered from Members, families, and stakeholders to generate actionable recommendations for PHP leaders. Work to disseminate findings throughout the organization.
