Job Description

This is a non-merit TEMPORARY position with IPERS.

Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprise. Candidates need to refer to the "TO APPLY" for directions on applying.

The Iowa Public Employees' Retirement System (IPERS) is looking for candidates to support the Benefits Division Call Center.

The successful candidate will provide assistance to IPERS members via telephone and other electric means while using the member self-service portal. Guide member's experience with information exchange and/ or financial processing transactions to a successful outcome. Gather data and perform data analysis on call details and statistics to determine trends and opportunities to improve member's experience with the portal. Additional administrative duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis.

This position should expect to work 30 - 40 hours per week.

Prior to commencing employment, candidates must pass a background check.
