A prestigious healthcare system is searching for Med/Surg Registered Nurses for one of its community hospitals in Northwestern Connecticut. In this role, you will be an essential member of the patient care team and responsible for the delivery of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. You will assess, plan, treat, and evaluate nursing care for patients and work collaboratively with other healthcare team members. Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care in a 28-bed Medical/Surgical Unit. Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessments and plan interventions to meet patients' needs. Document care provided and the patient's progress toward desired outcomes. Educate patients and families about the care plan and how to manage their care after discharge. Administer medications to patients as directed. Qualifications: An ADN is required, and a BSN is preferred. Active RN license. 1+ years of Med/Surg experience is preferred. Additional info: Full-time, permanent position 32-36 hours/week, days and nights are available! Pay; $35-57+/hr., depending on experience, + differentials. $5,000-$10,000 sign-on bonus!
