Responsibilities
• Answer phones, greet and focus on donors• Screen new and repeat donors• Take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and maintain accurate records• Coordinate donor compensation• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement• Initiate changes to center processes• Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Ability to walk and/or stand for entire work shift• Work evenings, weekends, and holidays• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and lifting• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear• 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear• 1 or more years minimum experience in customer or patient facing role
