Work here, for the best of your life! Job Description: To ensure all aspects of medical record processing and documentation meet State and Federal requirements and to assure quality of health care data. Provide clinical support for Resident Assessment Instrument.
Duties Include: Monitor, implement and maintain a standardized medical record file format for open and closed records.Monitor and maintain a standardized quality data management (compliance) plan and program to ensure compliance with external regulatory requirement, ensure consistency of quality data for Oak Grove's internal needs, and identify and investigate and prevent non-compliance. Report non-compliance to ADON or DON.Identify incomplete or inconsistent documentation for closed inpatient and outpatient medical records. Bring identified concerns to DON and ADON.Provide training, in-services, consulting and feedback to healthcare professionals, and other Oak Grove departments regarding trends or findings related to medical record chart order, documentation, follow-up, and on any other medical record data quality concerns.Assists with information research for healthcare projects.IT resources and trainer for healthcare as needed.Job Requirements/Qualifications: Previous health information management experience, experience in record management, filing, filing systems and data entry requiredPrevious experience working with the elderly preferredGood written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skillsAbility to organize and implement changesKnowledge of the aging process and the elderly populationSchedule: Full-TimeM - F 8am-4:30pmWeekends OffBenefits: ReadyPay Today – Get Paid Daily!Medical/Dental/VisionPaid Time OffFlexible Spending AccountEducation Assistance ProgramsAnd so much more!!!!Contact HR with questions, .
