Medical Office Assistant

Join our team as a part-time Medical Office Assistant in a hybrid role. You'll play a pivotal part in the day-to-day operations at our wellness spa in Virginia Beach. Responsibilities:
Warmly greet patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Handle phone calls, appointments, and patient inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks.
Process billing claims and manage medical supplies inventory.
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to safeguard patient confidentiality.
Utilize electronic medical records systems like JaneApp effectively.
Qualifications:
Strong phone etiquette, appointment scheduling, and administrative assistance skills.
Proficiency in medical terminology and insurance verification.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work both independently and remotely.
Prior experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.
Certification in a related field or an Associate's degree is advantageous.
Proficiency in intramuscular injections and nursing duties, if certified.

Experience & Requirements:
