Responsibilities
• Perform data entry work, including posting data concerning costs related to medical services• Process personal and payer payments daily• Review and send charges to insurance for services performed• Field phone calls from patients/insurance companies and clinics• Consult insurance company representatives to determine specific charges• Perform end of day balance of office receipts and generates bank deposit form• Keep records of invoices and support documents• Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
• Prior experience in accounting, invoicing, billing or related field• Prefer someone with an accounting degree if possible• Analytical and deadline driven with a sense of self-direction• Energetic and pleasant to work with
