Program Details Our summer internships offer a challenging, high impact opportunity to work through important projects at Dentsply Sirona. In addition to hands on learning, you'll participate in our intern event series focused on personal and professional development. At the end of the internship, you will present what you've accomplished to senior leadership. Position Summary As an Intern working in the medical imaging AI group with Dentsply Sirona, you will work at the forefront of AI/ML product development: embedded in our muti-cultural and worldwide R&D team, leveraging the reach of Dentsply Sirona's cloud-based ecosystem DS Core. At Dentsply Sirona, we work with Google Cloud, giving you the tools and power you need to solve intriguing challenges, and the opportunity to grow your technical skill both in depth and breadth while developing medical grade products. Qualifications/ Requirements Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Medicine or related disciplines Bachelor or Master degree program Strong interest in interdisciplinary work comprising aspects of technology, healthcare, innovation, and product management First experiences with either artificial intelligence, medical imaging, Object-Oriented Programming or Data Structures, Algorithms and Statistics Ability to work 35 hours a week beginning in June 2024, for approximately 13 weeks Minimum GPA 3.0 Demonstrated leadership experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Has interest/ability to work in a dynamic, challenging work environment Good time management/organization skills with the ability to multi-task Microsoft Suite experience preferred Experience in and/or leading team projects Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Dentsply Sirona is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action employer.
