Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Geriatric Medicine Physician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to elderly patients in various settings. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of older adults and contribute to the enhancement of geriatric care.
Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat medical conditions affecting elderly patients Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and social workers Educate patients and their families about geriatric health issues, treatment options, and preventive measures Conduct regular assessments to monitor patients' health status and adjust treatment plans as needed Requirements: Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or Board Certified in Geriatrics (Fellowship-trained) or Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine CDS (Controlled Dangerous Substance) Certification DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) Registration (by time of start) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (by time of start) Minimum of 1 year experience working with the frail or elderly population Previous supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care Experience working in long-term care facilities or nursing homes Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and continuing education Supportive and collaborative work environment Commitment to work-life balance
