Medical Delivery Driver

POSITION SUMMARY In this position, you will be delivering orthopedic surgical kits needed for surgeries to area hospitals and clinics and other duties as assigned. This is an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR (1099) position. Special consideration will be given to those candidates with prior medical delivery experience and those candidates who own or possess their own cargo/ sprinter van. WE PROVIDE YOU WITH A CARGO/SPRINTER VAN AND A GAS CARD! (You must be at least 23 years of age due to insurance requirements.) SHIFT DAYS & TIMES Mon-Fri | 4:00p to 5:00a | * No Weekends *
PAY STRUCTURE Weekly payouts up to $1200. Paid training for up to 2 weeks with lead drivers and dispatchers. As this is an Independent Contractor position, overtime is paid out as the regular pay rate. Higher weekly pay for those who do own their own cargo/sprinter vans. RESPONSIBILITIES Must live in Houston, TX or a surrounding area . Must have a valid driver's license. Must be at least 23 years of age due to insurance requirements. Must have a clean driving record. Must have a fully functioning smartphone. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must maintain professionalism in all settings a nd keep a clean appearance . Must be on time and reliable. Must be attentive to details. Must be self-motivated and self-starter. Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). If hired, a background check is required .
