Job Summary:
As a Medical Collections Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in our mission by managing outbound calls, resolving patient receivables, and providing exceptional customer service. This virtual role allows you to work remotely while contributing to our team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle outbound calls and follow up on patient accounts
Identify and escalate problem accounts as needed
Update patient account records accurately
Collaborate with patients and guarantors to facilitate payment
Maintain productivity standards and quality review scores
Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with team members and management
Provide outstanding customer service to uphold our reputation for excellence
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in a call center environment is advantageous
Minimum one-year experience, preferably in healthcare collections
Familiarity with healthcare revenue space is a plus
Willingness to work one Saturday per month and one evening per week
Reliable high-speed internet connection (25 MB Download, 6 MB Upload) required
Bilingual proficiency is a bonus
