We are searching for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team! In this crucial role, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare professionals and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:
Clinical duties:
Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
Prepare patients for examinations by recording medical histories and taking preliminary measurements
Assist physicians with procedures as needed
Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
Administer medications (with proper certification)
Update patient charts and medical records
Administrative duties:
Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar
Answer phones and greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
Manage patient flow and ensure waiting rooms are organized
Prepare documentation and correspondence
Maintain medical supplies and equipment
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical setting
Strong clinical and administrative skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient care and confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) software
Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
