Medical Assistant

Opportunity to join our team in this expanding cardiology practice. Looking for a bright, organized individual that will follow instructions and clinical orders but also has initiative. We are a busy, fast-paced cardiology office. The candidate will perform a variety of duties in both the clinical and administrative areas.

Job Duties: Assisting clinicians with patient care. Rooming patients, ECG, Holter & event monitor. Chart abstraction & making sure all pertinent labs & diagnostic test results are available for the clinician. Electronic prescription refills, and busy phone triage.  Job Requirements: Prior medical office experience. Performing EKG's and Manual Vitals a must. Proficient computer skills with knowledge of electronic medical records. Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail and organized. Ability to work as a member of a team. Current BLS. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Bi-Lingual is a plus, but not required. Please forward as an attachment only your resume with references.
