Responsibilities
• Provide services and support to psychiatrists, PA, and APRNs• Complete relevant documentation in a timely manner• Maximize clinic efficiency and productivity through organized work• Collaborate with team members for a positive client experience• Follow instructions and complete assigned duties• Ensure accurate medication history during vital taking• Perform genetic testing and educate patients about it• Welcome patients and prepare them for physician's visit• Perform medical assessments and document appropriately• Assist with direct client care and administrative tasks• Maintain and file patient records and information• Monitor voicemails and return calls within 24 hours• Triage patient phone calls and document interactions• Review Athena messages and respond accordingly• Take medication orders and handle refill requests• Verify pharmacy information and update patient charts• Provide guidance and education to patients on prescribed medication• Document interactions and provide after-hours call line information
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent• One year of healthcare experience preferred• Medical Assisting certification preferred• Proficient oral and written communication skills• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and customer service abilities• Positive interpersonal relationship skills• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT & ICD-10 coding, and medication procedures
