Job Purpose : To Provide, Engage and Influence Worker Health Protection and Worker Wellbeing for all staff at DPR. Provide Occupational Health (OH) technical and professional attributes to the Pemex Deer Park Refinery and additional Pemex assets and SLA. Deliver the professional OH role in implementation of occupational health services, including but not limited to pre-placement & periodic fitness to work & medical surveillance assessments, drug testing, occupational injury/illness care, disability medical case management, health promotion, health hazard management in line with DPR HSSE & Control Framework and Pemex worker health protection strategy.  Protect and promote health of people via a Human Performance and Care lens. Partner with Pemex Health and HSSE team in compliance assurance and creating a Culture of Care. Provide professional and technical support to DPR. Behavioral and Leadership Attributes

IH supervisor, Health Manager, Health Team, HSSE, Department managers and employees, contractors, External relations, Learning and Development and Security. External Interfaces
Health and HSSE Peers, local health facilities and providers, Government and Regulation Agencies, Contractor HSSE Focal points and contract holders at industry and academic level, regulators and consultants as needed. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Partner with HSSE and Business in the delivery and assurance of technical and professional aspect of Occupational Health e.g. Scheduling and Testing of Medical Surveillance and Fitness to Work evaluations, Injury and illness care and disability management Travel health, delivery of substance abuse testing and policy compliance, Assist in non-occupational injury and illness care, etc under the guidance of the clinic nurse lead and the medical director. Assist in ensuring compliance within DPRLP / Pemex Health / Pemex and Local legislative requirements. Actively contribute to the delivery of HP&C Components (including Care for People) in implementation of programs and daily behaviors. Provide Health and HSSE support and advice to Peers, Staff, and Pemex businesses. Leverage on HSSE, Environmental and Occupational Health skills to provide high value business partnering opportunities to ongoing business and projects. Increase reputation and community goodwill. Identify opportunities to add value in the context of social and environmental health to protect and strengthen licence to operate at DPRLP. Supports implementation & utilization of standardized health processes Reports and maintains protocols of Supervision with Medical Director and Clinic Nurse manager and provides standard of care as per State Medical Board regulation. Key Challenges: Challenging working environment characterized by need to maintain safe and healthy operations, production, reliability, maintenance in partnership with other functions and contractors. Assure effective implementation of OH programs and seek and implement opportunities for continuous improvement. Deliver OH support within the HP&C framework, build capabilities and understanding of Culture of Care and its business value. Assist in the delivery of health and safety programs for onsite staff and contractors as well as the nearby community. PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES Certified Medical Assistant from an accredited program If applicable, Current license & member in good standing Audiometric & pulmonary function testing certification, & alcohol & drug sample collector certification preferred Minimum 1 years of experience. Occupational Health training & certification desirable Good knowledge and experience with regulations affecting Occupational & Environmental Health and Safety. Skill level in evaluation, selection and implementation of progressive levels of digital OH technology, and its effective use in Health Care Management. Ability and experience to effectively work in multidisciplinary teams. Be able to prioritize & manage tasks effectively, balance multiple activities/objectives, cope with occasionally high levels of work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment & deliver results Ability to develop and express ideas and opinions concisely. Fluency in English. Good verbal & written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work in the US in Local Terms. Usual work schedule is anticipated to be M-F @ 9/80 schedule. MA is expected to report to health center for emergency calls. Normal health center hours are 5:00 AM 2:30 PM weekdays, with extended hours depending on business needs.
